NHS Grampian has published its plans for managing a COVID-19 outbreak in Moray, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. The plans were in development prior to the outbreak linked to the hospitality trade in Aberdeen. They have been informed by initial lessons learned in the management of that. The plans have been developed jointly with local authority partners in Grampian.
The Moray plan can be viewed here: |
Operation Home 1st is the next phase in our response to the Covid-19 pandemic and is a partnership between the health and social care partnerships in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray alongside NHS Grampian’s acute services.
It will see more health care able to be delivered to people at home and has been developed to build on what has been learned so far across the health and social care system to ensure there is a plan in place to deal with any future demand on services, as well as meeting the needs and wishes of vulnerable people by ensuring that we can reduce hospital admissions and expedite hospital discharges quickly. |
