Our vision
The vision for integrated health and social care was developed by listening to the views of people who use health and social care services, unpaid carers, those who deliver services in Moray and the wider community. Our purpose Through health, social care and third sector professionals and commercial providers working together with patients, unpaid carers, service users and their families, we will promote choice, independence, quality and consistency of service by providing a seamless, joined up, high quality health and social care service. When it is safe to do so, we will always do our utmost to support people to live independently in their own homes and communities for as long as possible. We will strive to ensure resources are used effectively and efficiently to deliver services that meet the needs of an increasing number of people with longer term and often complex care needs; many of whom are older.
