COVID vaccination programme for staff

Staff vaccinations

Staff peer-to-peer vaccination clinics will be held at Dr Gray's Hospital and at the Health & Social Care main office in Elgin.
All health, social care and care home staff will have the opportunity to be immunised against COVID-19 during the first phase of the national COVID-19 vaccination programme which runs from early December 2020 to the end of February 2021. However, in order to ensure those most at risk are protected as early as possible, the initial vaccine supply for the first few weeks is being prioritised for frontline health and care staff working in the highest risk areas and those caring for the most vulnerable and critically ill patients, in line with Scottish Government guidance.
The vaccine is your best protection against coronavirus and NHS Scotland strongly recommends you get the vaccine when offered it.
The following leaflets provide more information about the vaccine and why it is important for health and social care staff to be immunised. Please read the leaflets carefully before booking your appointment):
  • Leaflet for Healthcare Workers
  • Leaflet for Social Care Workers
  • Leaflet for Care Home Workers
To book a slot to get your vaccinations (remember you need two, 28 days apart) please complete the booking form. It is essential that all of the information requested is included.

For more general information about the COVID-19 immunisation programme, please visit the NHS Inform website: www.nhsinform.scot/covid19vaccine
If you are experiencing any of the recognised symptoms of COVID-19, isolate at home and arrange a test as quickly as you can.
